Subirrigation Systems

Subirrigation provides delivers water to a plant’s roots on an as-needed basis.  When using a subirrigation system, each plant determines its own water requirements.  They are less susceptible to water stress syndrome, and as a result, are less susceptible to pests such as mealy bug, mites, and scale.  Fungus gnats cannot usually even find a moist inch of top soil in which to live and breed.
